We begin the description of our common journey with words-
Women spoke in the sauna …
After the 2019 Türi-Tori Downriver Race, we shared an idea in the sauna to assamble the first female team for the Gauja XXL relay race (380 km).
On the way to Latvia, we discovered a common dream to participate in the Yukon River Quest 715 km in Canada, and this was the moment when our duo was born…
2026 Yukon 2000 3200 km🇨🇦🇺🇸
The Yukon 2000 is the world’s toughest and longest paddling ultramarathon at 2,000 miles, 3,200 km, which will take place for the first time in 2026. It is a paddling competition where only selected teams can enter. We have redeemed the pass with the Yukon 1000 overall victory. All teams will race with identical canoes.
Competitors follow in the footsteps of early adventurers in the pristine wilderness of Canada and Alaska, the world’s most isolated area for grizzlies and black bears, paddling alone with a boatmate. Any contact with the outside world means elimination from the competition. After crossing half the country, the road network disappears completely, and the only way to return to civilization from the finish line is by plane.
